The collection consists of records of the Georgia Psychological Association from 1946-1975. The records include correspondence,
constitutions, minutes (1948-1972), treasurer's reports (1948-1970), membership applications, member lists, committee reports
(1948-1971, with gaps), and printed material. The materials document the formation of the organization and its subsequent
activities including information on the licensing of psychologists in Georgia, legislation before the General Assembly, mental
health problems, and ethics and standards for mental health professionals.
